Sadly, the ‘bushiban’ industry in Taiwan is designed to get your money, not necessarily to educate you. Equally unfortunately, much of the teaching of English in Taiwan is using old-fashioned methods which disappeared from the west decades ago as an increasing amount of research proved these methods did not work.
