Introduction
I said in the ‘IELTS Vocabulary’ Section that ‘IELTS Vocabulary’ is a completely dishonest term. Similarly, the concept of ‘IELTS Grammar’ is wrong. It is simply English grammar. However, in over 20 years of correcting students’ IELTS essays, I have noticed that the same sorts of mistakes regularly emerge. And I have been systematically noting these, and making teaching PowerPoints on these reoccurring grammar areas.
So, in that sense, we can call these issues ‘IELTS Grammar’ – or perhaps a better term is: ‘Grammar Hints to Help You with IELTS’. Well, I can’t show you my ‘IELTS Grammar PowerPoints’, but I can make a lot of small worksheets to help you out. Click on the pictures to see the bigger version. Good luck.
